Market clearing -DemandとSupplyが一致したらEquilibrium Price
Market clearing
Demand と Supply が Equilibrium（均衡）していることを Market clearing（需給一致）という。
そのときの価格を、 Market price（市場価格）、またの名を Equilibrium price という。
グラフでは、Demand Curve と Supply Curve が交わった点が Market clearing となる。

Excess demand
超過需要、Market shortage。
Equilibrium price より Actual price が低いと、Demand が Supply を超えている。
Supplier は Supply の Quantity を増加させ、Price を上げる。Price が上がると、Demand が減り、Market clearing にいたる。
Excess supply
超過供給、Market surplus。
Equilibrium price より Actual price が高いと、Supply が Demand を超えている。
Supplier は Supply の Quantity を減らし、Price を下げる。Price が下がると、Demand が増え、Market clearing に落ち着く。
Demand change
Demand と Supply が Equilibrium しているとき、Income（所得）の増加などにより Demand が変化すると、Equilibrium price や Quantity が変化する。
Demand が Increase
Demand が Increase すると、Demand curve が Right へ Shift する。
Equilibrium price が Increase し、Equilibrium の Quantity も Increase する。
Demand が Decrease
Demand が Decrease すると、Demand curve が Left へ Shift する。
Equilibrium price が Decrease し、Equilibrium の Quantity も Decrease する。
Supply change
Demand と Supply が Equilibrium しているとき、Production cost（製造費用）の削減などにより Supply が変化すると、Equilibrium price や Quantity が変化する。
Supply が Increase
Supply が Increase すると、Supply curve が Right へ Shift する。
Equilibrium price が Decrease し、Demand の Quantity は Increase する。
Supply が Decrease
Supply が Decrease すると、Supply curve が Left へ Shift する。
Equilibrium price が Increase し、Demand の Quantity は Decrease する。
Tax
Indirect tax などにより Price が上がることがある。
Equilibrium price が Increase し、Demand の Quantity は Decrease する。
Both change
Demand と Supply が Equilibrium なとき、Demand と Supply が両方とも Increase すると Equilibrium の Quantity は Increase する。
Demand と Supply はどこで一致するかわからないので、Market price は Indeterminate 。
Demand と Supply が両方とも Decrease すると Equilibrium の Quantity は Decrease する。
Government’s influence on market
Government（政府）による Market equilibrium への影響。
Taxation
課税。Tax は Cost を Increase させる。すなわち、Supply curve は Left に Shift。Tax reduction（減税）は逆の効果。
Subsidization
補助金。Subsidization は Cost を Decrease させる。Supply curve は Right に Shift。
Rationing
配給。Demand を Reduce。Demand curve は Left に Shift 。
Price fixing
政府などにより Price が規制されてしまうことがある。
Price floor
産業保護などの目的により、Price の下限が定められてしまう。
その定められた Price が Equilibrium Price より上回ると、Supply が Surplus となる。下回っていれば 影響はない。
Price ceiling
物価安定などの目的により、Price の上限が定められてしまう。
その定められた Price が Equilibrium Price より下回ると Supply が Shortage となる。上回っていれば影響はない。
Price ceilings create prices below equilibrium prices.
Government が Ordinance（条例） などにより Rent を Freeze させることがある。Rental space は Shortage となる。
Government regulations
Government が特定の Products に対して Regulation を課したことにより、生産コストが高くなり Price があがる。
