◎Cloud-based computing
クラウド。インターネットを使って Computer resource や Application などを提供するサービス。User は Local server に Software を導入しなくても Cloud にあるさまざまなサービスを利用できる。
○Cloud service provider
CSP。Cloud service の提供者。CSPと Contracto を結ぶ前に、以下の Information について確認する。
- Appropriate usage
- Performance data
- Network infrastructure
- Data center
- Security
- Data segregation
- Compliance policies
○Considerations
Coud services を導入するうえで考慮すること。
- The supported business processes
- The deployment model, i.e., public, hybrid, private
- The service delivery model
・The supported business processes
どの Business processes に使用するのか。Sales process なのか Production process なのか。
・The deployment model
Cloud の展開の仕方。Public なのか Private なのか。
・The service deviver model
Cloud service には、以下のような種類がある。

- PaaS
- SaaS
○IaaS
イアース、Infrastructure as a Service の略。Hardware のような Infrastructure を Cloud で提供するサービス。Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud などが該当する。
○PaaS
パース、Platform as a Service の略。Software を Create するような Platform を Cloud で提供するサービス。Google App Engine などが該当する。
○SaaS
サース、Software as a Service の略。Software を Cloud で提供するサービス。Salesforce などが該当する。
○Risk
Cloud-based computing に伴う Risk。
- Data loss
- Vendor security failure
- System hacks
どの CSP も Hacking を受けるおそれがある。適切な Backup を行うために複数の CSP と Contract しておくとより安全となる。Storage の Redundancy が重要。
また、CSPとの Contract は簡単に行えるので、Cloud についての Understanding や Risks を十分にえないまま Cloud serivices を利用することが、Security risk のひとつとなりうる。

スケーラビリティ、System の Capacity。 Cloud により、Organization の Needs にあわせて Information processing を調節できる。

Cloud の Contract は、Cloud computing policies にのっとって Cloud vendors と結ばれる。
